Batik quiltkit gifted by PandG for my 70th!

The name of this pattern is Ridiculously Easy Jellyroll QT! And guess what....i didnt follow the easy instructions and had to do some ripping( which i absolutely hate). But finally when i finished it looked stunning! To top it all Tina at Square Inch in Madras who quilted it for me,hung it in her gallery! Made my day....J is not around to see it,but am sure he is looking and appreciating!

Unfinished dream

Saw this pattern on Pinterest,Reethi figured out the measurements and made a couple of blocks of the bigger size....not happy with the contrast or size...has to be smaller....one day am dreaming of doing this in the correct size....

Chandelier Quilt

Chandelair Quilt Two years back when I was in NY with Priya,she had made a Chandelair QT, which i liked a lot. Finally made one with batik bought at Square Inch quilt shop in Madras. Quilted it at home and gave it to Hansika !The smaller one also i quilted but have not yet given to any baby girl!

Baby QT

A quilt top done with scraps! definitely not my comfort zone but am happy at the outcome.Saw this pattern on Pinterest and made a baby quilt for Srinika,Priest Swaminathans baby born on 15 th May 2023.The quilting was my usual ,added a polka dot binding,with my name tag (given by Reethi) and gave it away this morning.

Along adream come true.... This pattern referred to by many names has drawn me to it for the longest time...did not have the courage to do it. Butabout a month back asked Reethi to select the fabric and have finished it quite fast . My sil always finishes the pattern in the border also, and for the first time in my quilting life have followed her steps!My niece Priya sent me detailed instructions on how to use the template and voila here it is! It looks amazing, though i say it myself. Only wish my greatest supporter and admirer were here to see it...but am sure he is seeing it from a different place

Baby Nathan quilt ( Abir and Pam’s boy)

I had some HST in blue, made them into Pinwheels and then Reethi suggested that i frame the pinwheels and also do a sashing as a size enlarger...Hurrah! Quilted and bound and given to Baby Nathan in May of 2021!
