36 Patch QT in the making

This one is from Crazymom's Blog.Using up all left over fabrics(soo not me).Have'nt decided what size its going to finish at .....maybe 86"/72".Have 19 blocks now,also debating about sashing versus plain,also which colour sashing,black or white.So many things to think about....

Madhav's Quilt

At last I thought I had done with piecing.....alas,I thought too soon.....anyways....what are your thoughts?Have to join it before India trip,cant leave it lying on the floor,can I???

I have cut 38 61/2" squares.now off to stitching...

Ranting

I have 110 such 4 pieced triangles.I thought I just had to join them,but on placing it on my bed it is not enough.....sigh......Madhav says just put a BIG border,but I dont think it will look GOOD......so.....Off to making another 20 such pieces.....not looking forward to it at all.

Half triangles

This is a quilt for my son Madhav!He hates squares and rectangles.....made my life complicated by asking for a half square triangle quilt!My sil Chandra came to my rescue by showing me a simpler way to make these half triangles.The ones you see on top are 3 among the 448 I  have made.I am quite surprised at my own patience.Hopefully I will finish it soon....

City Tracks by Cherri House

Last summer after seeing the book City Quilts by Cherri House at the craft fair,decided to make it.I do have a mountain of fabric as my blog suggests,but not too many plain colours!Went to Jo Ann across the border and with my husband's help selected these fabrics!It is not an intricate pattern but very colourful,I "LOVE" it.
